Healing In the Context of Community
In a recent ceremony I sat for, a dear friend shared this insight: We're living in a culture that rewards the individual. The talents, the achievements, the recognition put individuals on a pedestal, which isn't inherently bad, but it completely misses the power of the collective. Human beings are connected to each other and to nature, and that relationship is symbiotic. And the great teaching we need to reclaim today is a remembrance of the power of community. The irony is that trying to learn that power through individual work alone is impossible and misses the point. This is why your work today becomes so critical.

The Beauty Way is an initiatory path for women to remember who they are—awakening their ancient knowing, restoring embodied wisdom, and reclaiming feminine power through ceremony, ritual, and sacred sisterhood.
The Beauty Way is done in community, by design. And, in this way, it restores the forgotten power of the ecosystem of everything — the living garden — that builds community as the foundation and sacred at the center. The invitation of my Ancestors and this song to act as an offering to the living garden is not just reciprocal in nature, but it's regenerative and distributive by design.

We arrive at the Remembrance
In April 2026, Chelsea and Melanie opened a ceremonial portal for me. Through that portal, the remembrance of Aloha 'Oe emerged from my soul and my voice. It felt as if Gaia herself was asking me to share this in service of whomever needs to hear it. Minutes later, I heard the chorus of Hawai'i '78 by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Except it wasn't his voice. I heard the collective voices of women singing this chorus like the answer or the resolution that Aloha 'Oe had been looking for. I followed the calling to share this voice recording the version of these songs that I heard, and have found that it opens up a ceremonial portal for those that are looking for it.
The insight became clear: this is the cycle of healing. Time is a spiral where we cycle through remembering, forgetting, reminding, and back again; in this lifetime, and across generations. And, doing that in community accelerates this cycle exponentially, not for the sake of speed, but for the sake of the ecosystem of everything; regenerative and distributive by design. This matters now because the truth is that when humans heal, they will heal humanity.
